It’s Baaackkk: ENDA!
Gay activist Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) is a busy man these days. With a pro-gay President in the White House, Frank is certain that he can push through his favorite legislation, known as the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). Frank has introduced H.R. 2981, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2009.
The Man who Would Be God
A while back, I heard Obama bragging about his first few months in the White House. When he claimed he had done as much in that period as any president in history, my initial thought was that for the first time in his life he was being modest. Frankly, I think he’s done more, much more, and I only wish that some of it had been good for America. Read More... Email It...
Dodge facts, Skip Details, Govern Chicago-style
We pundits like to analyze our presidents and so, as Barack Obama deals with difficult problems ranging from health care legislation to upheaval in Iran, let me offer my Three Rules of Obama. Read More... Email It...
Tobacco Control and Thought Control

Gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgendered students (GILBERTS) need to pay especially close attention. Read More... Email It...
Which Side Really Inspires Violence, the Right or Left?
Is the right responsible for inspiring murder, such as that of late-term abortionist George Tiller by Kansas native Scott Roeder? Some certainly seem to think so. For instance, the Friday before last Bill O’Reilly had as a guest on his show Joan Walsh, the editor of leftist news site Salon.com. She appeared because she had criticized O’Reilly for engaging in what she called a “jihad” against Tiller. Her thesis is that O’Reilly and, presumably, the rest of us who are passionately pro-life are culpable Tiller’s death. Read More... Email It...
Ivy League Realism
Several recent articles in both liberal-progressive and conservative media attributed Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s interpretation of the law to the doctrine of legal realism. Specifically mentioned in that connection was 1920s and 30s legal scholar Jerome Frank. Read More... Email It...
They Are Dropping Like Flies
President Barack Obama wowed his fawning supporters this past week by killing a fly. Oh the dexterity. Oh the raw talent. Oh the humility as he calmly proclaimed, taking a tissue and scooping up fly guts, that he cleans up after himself. He even got props for being some Mr. Miyagi like sensei knowing the way to inner peace. Read More... Email It...
